0.24.6 "US Edition" New Features -------------------------------- 1. Assignment of default filenames when the '#', '+' and '-' commands are relayed using the ';' trigger now works as expected. If no filename is specified in the command (in brackets), the default filename is based on the callsign of the originating station in the relay path, not the callsign of the intermediary station. 0.24.5 "US Edition" New Features -------------------------------- 1. Log files now kept in "logs" folder within the FSQCALL installation folder. When browsing for FSQCALL traffic files the file Open dialog opens in the "logs" folder. 2. New "Traffic Log" feature for recording all transmitted messages and all received messages with validated origin callsigns. Log entries are timestamped and include snr and speed data along with the message content (truncated in log if too long). Two log formats are supported: comma delimited for spreadsheet processing and a more human readable space delimited fixed column width format. Added "FSQCALL->Traffic Log Settings..." menu option to configure logging options. Added "FSQCALL->Open Traffic Log" menu option to open the current traffic log file. Added "FSQCALL->Archive Traffic Log" menu option to clear the current traffic log file, saving its contents to a timestamped archive file with name in this format: name_YYYY_MM_DD_HH_MM.ext where ext is .csv or .log. 2. Added "File->Archive Heard station log" menu option to clear the current Heard log file, saving its contents to a timestamped archive file with name in this format: Heardlog_YYYY_MM_DD_HH_MM.txt. 3. Changed TX pane to have same right-click menu as RX pane for better usability. 4. When receiving a file sent with '#' the ".txt" extension is appended to its filename only if it doesn't have one already. This makes File->File to Send... work properly in FSQCALL mode. 5. Added filter for comma separated files (.csv extension) to file selection dialog opened when File->File to Send... is invoked. 6. Added new options to heard list shortcut (right-click) menu: "Send File To..." lets you browse for a file and send it to selected station without typing. "Read File From..." prompts you for a filename and then reads it from selected station. 7. Improve file access security when '#' and '+' commands used. Disallow relative file paths and use of environment variables to prevent directory traversal attacks and force all file paths to be rooted in the directory containing the FSQCALL executable. Send File to Station, command # A station may now omit the filename in brackets. For example: "ka4cdn#This is a test". In this case the sender's callsign is used as the default file name. 2. Added new options to call list shortcut (right click) menu. These options issue commonly used commands to selected station without typing in tx pane. ?, @, $, & and + are available, as well as an option to send a message to the selected station (#). 3. Query Heard List, command $ A station can query another station for a list of the stations it has heard and are currently listed in its call list. The station asking can add an optional count to the $ command to ask for no more than that number of stations. 4. Relay/Auto-Response, command ; A station may ask another station to relay any command to another station (or allcall) and the response from the final destination station will automatically be relayed back to the originator. Entering !! in the tx area will recall the last command sent which can be edited and then sent again. 6. Suppress TX text when Sounding New menu item under FSQCALL allow the selection to suppress the display of transmitted text when FSQCALL Sounding is active. When Sounding is active, the soundings themselves are always suppressed, regardless of this setting. 7. New context menus Allow for clearing the monitor and rcv data areas without having to Pause. Copy/Copy All/Delete for the call list. 8. Time format selection New menu item under Display allow the time format to be set to UTC or Local. 9. Most user settings now persistent. Settings found in the FSQCALL, Options, Display and Speed menus are now stored in the setup file so they are not lost when the program is closed.
